The OPPO F11 Pro was first announced in India earlier this month. It is coming to the Philippine on March 27, 2019. Before it does, we were fortunate enough to get our hands on one. We took its cameras for a spin to see how they perform. Before we proceed, letâs take a close look at the OPPO F11 Proâs cameras. The handset features dual 48MP + 5MP rear cameras. The primary camera has a 1/ sensor with 1/6um sized pixels, and comes with a bright f/ aperture lens and an AI-assisted image processing. It uses pixel binning to output 12MP photos, with the intention of preserving as much details and colors as possible. OPPO F11 Pro Camera The 16MP selfie camera is housed on a motorized module that pops up when called. It has a 1/ sensor with sized pixels paired with a f/ aperture lens. OPPO F11 Pro Selfie Camera Read OPPO F11, F11 Pro are coming to the Philippines Its camera features include portrait mode, night mode, panoramic, expert or pro mode, time-lapse, slo-mo, and Google Lens. Camera Performance The OPPO F11 Pro can produce above average quality photos, especially in good light. Images look colorful with good saturation and detail. There are some signs of over sharpening from time to time, and sometimes photos are a tad too warm for my taste. These are not deal breakers, though. OPPO F11 Pro Camera Sample The F11 Pro can also produce good natural bokeh. Itâs not as creamy as flagships and there were some evidence of noise, but it doesnât distract. The phone does particularly well in macro shots. Details and colors seem to pop-out more on this mode. The zoomed image looks okay, but you do see some deterioration of sharpness and details. Night Mode The OPPO F11 Pro features a night mode, similar to Huaweiâs implementation. The phone takes multiple photos in a couple of seconds and uses AI image processing to stack the images together to produce a shot. That being said, photo quality is good in low light. Thereâs ample detail there. In extreme low light situations, however, the phone stumbles a bit. There is an abundance of noise and details become smudged. Still, images are serviceable, especially if itâs just for social media. Selfies I like how the F11 Pro handles selfie photos. Images look sharp with good detail. Colors are good, but a bit on the warm side. Beauty mode works well to minimize pores and age lines. Just donât overdo it or you risk making it look unnatural. OPPO F11 Pro Camera Sample Selfie Conclusion Again, OPPO has done well in proving that theyâve gone farther than others when it comes to imaging and photography. The OPPO F11 Pro delivers in terms of image quality. It was not all smooth sailing, though. There were some issues that need improvement. Still, itâs good enough to get the job done. The only thing missing now is the price. Unfortunately, OPPO PH has kept mum on that end. The OPPO F11 Pro is set to officially launch in the Philippines on March 27, 2019.
